Premier mountain destination combines sustainability, luxury, and cultural heritage in landmark Omani development.

The Sultanate of Oman has announced the "Musstir Heights" project, a landmark OMR 300 million development to be established in Jabal Akhdar within the Al Dakhiliyah Governorate, unveiled during the current Oman Real Estate, Design & Build Exhibition and Conference.

Developed by Musstir Company, a subsidiary of Mohamed Al Barwani Group, the project forms part of the master plan for the "Al Jabal Al Aali" project in the Wilayat of Jabal Akhdar. Spanning more than one million square meters at an elevation of approximately 2,400 meters above sea level, Musstir Heights is designed as a premier destination for relaxation, recreation, and celebration of Oman's rich cultural heritage.

The comprehensive development features over 750 luxury villas designed to blend modern lifestyles with sustainability and authentic Omani identity. The project also includes residential units, a spa, a retail boulevard, and a restaurant and café promenade, creating a complete luxury lifestyle destination.

Dr. Mohammed bin Ali Al Barwani, Chairman of the Group's Board of Directors, stated that this project represents a significant milestone in the development of world-class projects that combine sustainability with authentic Omani identity. "This development showcases our commitment to creating spaces that honor our cultural heritage while meeting the highest international standards," he added.

Harith Sulaiman Al Barashdi, CEO of Musstir Heights, explained that the project marks a major step forward in the company's growth trajectory, reinforcing its position as a developer of luxury and sustainable destinations both in Oman and beyond.

The announcement aligns with Oman's national priorities aimed at promoting sustainable urban development, attracting high-value tourism and real estate investments, and cementing the Sultanate's position as a leading destination for contemporary living and leisure experiences. The project comes amid growing interest from local and international investors, supported by advanced facilities related to foreign ownership and real estate investment opportunities in Oman.
