A regal ride through Oman’s automotive legacy at the Across Ages Museum

The Royal Cars Exhibition has opened at the Oman Across Ages Museum in Manah, offering visitors a rare look at historic royal vehicles. Organized jointly with the Royal Cars Museum, this exhibition is held under the patronage of Sheikh Hilal bin Said Al Hajri, Governor of A’Dakhiliyah.

Inside, guests can explore a carefully curated collection of classic, sports, and luxury vehicles, each chosen for its historical significance and rarity. Eng. Al Yaqdhan Abdullah Al Harthy, Director General of the Oman Across Ages Museum, noted that the showcase holds a special place in the national memory by celebrating these iconic royal automobiles.

The exhibition features seven cars from the Royal Cars Museum, including a rare 1957 Morgan. Yasser Abdulaziz Al Farsi, head of the Royal Cars Museum Department, explained that some of these vehicles were custom-made with unique specifications, making this exhibition a truly exclusive experience.

Through interactive displays and historical context, the museum aims to engage visitors deeply, revealing not only the mechanics of the cars but also their national and cultural importance.

The collaboration between the Oman Across Ages Museum and the Royal Cars Museum underscores a shared mission: preserving Oman’s royal automotive heritage for all members of society to appreciate.

The exhibition runs until 9 December, and the visiting hours align with the museum’s normal operations: 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM daily
