The second season of the K-drama 'Squid Game' is set to release in December 2024, Korean actor Lee Jung-Jae shared in a conversation with Business Insider.
The actor talked about the second season during the promotion of his upcoming Star War series 'The Acolyte'. He said, "It will be released in December," through an interpreter.
However, Lee did not reveal any further details about the upcoming season.
Although, Netflix did not release a premiere date for the series' second season, the company's CEO Ted Sarandos confirmed earlier that the new season will be available in the second half of 2024.

Squid Game's first season was released in September 2021 and became a massive hit on Netflix and became the most-viewed show on the platform.
The series was nominated for four Emmy Awards in 2022 and won six of the awards.
