Ministry of Hajj and Umrah had updated the regulation for pilgrims coming to Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah or visit. Pilgrims coming for Umrah must provide a negative COVID-19 PCR or antigen test within 48 hours, even though they are vaccinated. This decision is effective on 9 February 2022, at 1 am.
Note that vaccinations must be registered electronically for pilgrims coming from outside Saudi Arabia, to match them with the approved vaccines inside the kingdom.
