Kolak Pisang

250g ripe bananas
250g sweet potatoes
100g sugar palm fruits
2 fresh pandan leaves
100g palm sugar
1/2 cup sugar
Pinch of salt
1.5 litre water
400ml coconut milk

  1. Prepare the fruits

    Cut the bananas into small pieces, wash and cut the sweet potatoes into cubes.
  2. Mix the ingredients

    In a large cooking pot, put all the ingredients and stir well.
  3. Cook the sweet soup

    Cook on medium heat until the soup boils, then reduce the heat to medium-low for 20 minutes until the sweet potatoes are tender.
  4. Serve

    Transfer the kolak into a serving bowl. It can be served hot or cold.
