Australia Wins Test Match Against India by 184 Runs
Australia defeated India in the Boxing Day test match by 184 runs on Monday, Dec. 30 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
India's chances to participate in the World Tets Championship final have suffered tremendously because of this loss. On the final day of the test match, India was all out at 155 when they were chasing a 340 target.
The team's Yashasvi Jaiswal scored 84 runs and Rishabh Pant scored 30 runs, boosting their team's score.
When Australia came to bat, they secured 228 runs with Marnus Labuschagne scoring 70 runs, Par Cummins scoring 41 runs, and Nathan Lyon securing 41 runs.
Cummins was named 'Player of the Match' and Australia took a lead in the test series 2-1.
The next test match is scheduled to begin on Friday, Jan. 3.
