Bollywood Actresses With the Highest Number of Filmfare Awards
The 68th Film Awards were held on Thursday night in Mumbai. The award night was hosted by Salman Khana along with Ayushmann Khurrana and Maniesh Paul.
The prestigious Best Actor (female) award went to Alia Bhatt, and her film Gangubai Kathiawadi received the award for the best film. This is Alia Bhatt's fourth Best Actor award at the Filmfare Awards. She previously won an award for her performance in the films Udta Punjab, Raazi, and Gullyboy.
Alia Bhatt is just one best actor award away from being one of the top Bollywood actresses with five Filmfare awards.
Bollywood actresses Kajol Devgn and Nutan hold the record with five Best Actor (Female) Filmfare awards.
Meena Kumari, Madhuri Dixit, Vidya Balan, and Alia Bhatt have four awards in the same category followed by
Vyjayanthimala, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi with three awards each in the Best Actor (Female) category.
