Dubai: No more temperature checks starting 2021

An update on the COVID-19 safety protocols was announced by Dubai authorities for outlets to follow from January 1, 2021.
The Dubai Economy took to Twitter to announce the following:
- Thermal scanners and manual temperature checks are not required any more.
- Valet parking protocols have been updated. A requirement of covering the steering wheel and seats with plastic has been done away with.

Yesterday, The authority tweeted that all businesses it inspected were found compliant with COVID-19 safety measures.
It is worth mentioning that this update came a day after HH Shiekh Mohammed Bin Rashid announced visa extension for a month for all UAE tourists free of cost.
