The Ford Motor Company revealed that its social media had been compromised after a series of pro-Palestinian posts had been shared on the company's X account. 

The posts were authorized by Ford and were quickly removed by the Michigan company, which has more than 1.4 million followers on X.

Ford later posted a message, reiterating that its X account had been compromised. The message read, "They (the posts) do not represent the views of the Ford Motor Company. Ford and X are investigating this breach."

The brief compromise of Ford's account came about as Israel's war in Gaza continues, which has led to the death of 45,500 Palestinians.
