The Ministry of Heritage and tourist established a Partner Support Platform on Wednesday under the name Oman Tourism Hub, in order to provide fast services to partners in the travel and tourist industry in Oman.

The platform was introduced as part of a comprehensive tourism development plan at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The platform's inauguration, according to tourism undersecretary Azzan Qasim Al Busaidi, completes a successful connection between Omani travel and tourism service providers.

In addition to activities planned by the ministry, the platform acts as a direct link that enables a smooth flow of all services provided to partners.

The platform also depicts the ministry's strategy for updating the list of partners in the area of business development on a regular basis. As it explains the tourism strategy and gives broad information on Omani tourism products, it serves as a teaching tool for partners in the local market.

It is noteworthy that the ministry introduced the "Majan" elite programme, which gives partners in the tourist sector access to the ministry's platform-based competitive advantages.
