Saudi Arabia has been named the 12th safest country in the world in 2023 with a safety index of 75.4, according to Numbeo, the world's largest database of user-contributed data about cities and countries worldwide. 

Saudi Arabia was not the only Arab country on the list, as it was preceded by Qatar in 1st place, UAE in 2nd, Oman in 5th, and Bahrain in 10th, to round up a strong presence for the Gulf nations.

4. Isle Of Man

5. Oman

6. Hong Kong (China)

7. Armenia

8. Japan

9. Switzerland

10. Bahrain

11. Slovenia

12. Saudi Arabia

15. Iceland

The Safety Index is calculated based on surveys that are taken of the residents from these countries. Saudi Arabia's ranking shows that the fear of robbery and vandalism is the lowest in the country and that Saudi Arabia is considered to be a very safe place when it comes to walking in the streets at night.
