Jad Issa, a Syrian Down Syndrome man, is popularly known on the internet for his heartwarming story of how he educated his son to become a dentist.
Jad was born in Syria with Down syndrome. He met a woman while doing work at a nearby wheat mill, and they immediately fell in love. They got married, and soon after, they had a boy whom they named Sader.
Jad, who had high hopes for his son, kept working at the wheat mill and began setting money aside for Sader's college expenses. He gave his family everything he had in every way. Sader was motivated to work hard in school and pursue a career in medicine by the affection and dedication of his father.
Sader said, “I think I would’ve been much less excited about life and much less passionate about what I do if I didn’t have my special father.”
