India won against Ireland by eight wickets on Wednesday, Jun. 5 in the group-stage match for the T20 World Cup 2024.
The match was played at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York, US.
Indian bowled first and had Ireland all out at 96 runs in just 16 overs. Arshdeep Singh secured two wickets and Jasprit Bumrah secured two.
Hardik Pandya secured three wickets and Axar Patel and Mohammed Siraj secured one wicket each.
When India batted, Rohit Sharma scored 52 runs and Rishabh Pant scored 36 runs, which helped their team win the match.
India's next match will be against Pakistan on Sunday, Jun. 9.
