The President of Germany Dr. Frank-Walter Steinmeier visited the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque before his departure on Wednesday, Nov. 29.

The German President visited the cultural landmark with his spouse to view the magnificent Omani and Islamic architecture.

During their visit, President Dr. Steinmeier and his wife were briefed on the history of the mosque and its architecture.
The German President's Reception in Oman
His Majesty Sultan Haitham received President Dr. Steinmeier at Al Alam Palace with an official ceremony after the German President arrived in the Sultanate.
His Majesty Sultan Haitham also hosted an official dinner at the palace in honor of the German President and the delegation accompanying him.
