Muscat Nights International Bowling Championship is Happening on This Date

The Muscat Nights International Bowling Championship is officially scheduled to take place from January 8 to January 19, 2026, organizers have announced, promising a world-class competitive spectacle at the A’Seeb Bowling Center.
The second edition of the event, jointly hosted by the Oman Bowling Committee and Muscat Municipality, will feature top-ranked international bowlers alongside regional talents. The tournament comes on the heels of a successful inaugural edition, which drew 170 male and female players from Oman and abroad.
Ayman Salim Al Jahdhami, Secretary of the Oman Bowling Committee and Chairman of the Organizing Committee, highlighted the ambition to expand participation and elevate the competition’s technical level. Prize money totaling around 30,000 Omani rials has been allocated to attract leading bowling stars from across the globe.
According to officials, the championship will be run under internationally accredited supervision, with competitions following global standards set by the sport’s governing bodies. This ensures a highly competitive environment leading up to the final match.
Hussein Salim Al Rumhi, a representative for Muscat Nights’ beach events, said broad community interest in bowling and the broader Muscat Nights festival influenced the sport’s inclusion, promoting both cultural engagement and athletic excellence.
