Grilled Chicken Pineapple Recipe

2/3 cup teriyaki sauce
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon freshly grated ginger
1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs
1 large pineapple, peeled and cut into 3/4-inch-thick rounds
3 tablespoons canola oil
2 green onions, thinly sliced
2 teaspoons toasted sesame seeds

  1. Prepare the Teriyaki Marinade

    In a medium bowl, mix together teriyaki sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, sesame oil, and 1 1/2 teaspoons of black pepper.

    Place the chicken in a gallon-sized Ziploc bag or a large bowl. Pour the teriyaki mixture over the chicken, ensuring it's evenly coated. Marinate for 2 to 4 hours in the refrigerator, flipping the bag occasionally. After marinating, drain the chicken from the excess marinade.
  3. Grill the Chicken and Pineapple

    Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Brush the chicken and pineapple rounds with canola oil and season them with salt and pepper.
