Residents in Oman to be Granted Fine Waivers Until This Date

The Royal Oman Police recently announced that residents in Oman wanting to renew their visas will be exempt from all fines until July 31.

These residents will be exempt from the fines which have resulted from the expiration of their visas and residency cards for work permit holders.
Also, foreigners who are planning to leave Oman permanently will be exempt from all fines related to the termination of all types of non-work related visas.
The ROP emphasized that the exemption includes specific cases mentioned in the Ministry of Labor's announcement about status rectification, settlement of fines and financial obligations.
