Schools to Shift to Distance Learning on April 1

The Ministry of Education has directed all private and public schools, universities, and colleges to switch to distance learning on Wednesday, April 1.
The directive was issued for academic institutions in Al Dakhiliyah, North Al Sharqiyah, South Al Sharqiyah, Al Wusta, Al Amerat, and Qurayat.
The directive was issued because the National Emergency Management Centre issued a warning of the impact of a trough of the low-pressure system on several governorates of Oman.
The education ministry has directed all staff and students to exercise strict caution and diligently follow the updates and directives issued by the relevant authorities.
