Bollywood actor Shanaya Kapoor has co-created a new jewelry brand called Indinoor, in collaboration with Gauri Tandon, founder of the House of Isharya. The brand introduces a modern interpretation of traditional Indian jewelry, designed to blend artisanal heritage with everyday wearability.
Crafted by master artisans using age-old techniques, Indinoor’s inaugural collection—aptly named “Jewels of Happiness”—showcases expressive, light-hearted designs. These pieces capture the vibrancy and glamour of festive adornments while remaining effortless and fun, encouraging wearers to incorporate them into daily life.
Shanaya Kapoor took a hands-on role in shaping the brand’s creative direction. She envisions Indinoor as jewelry “you actually want to wear,” crafted for women who appreciate Indian craftsmanship but desire pieces that are easy, joyful, and seamlessly integrate into their personal style—moving away from jewelry that’s only saved for special occasions.
Gauri Tandon emphasized the brand’s mission to fill a notable gap in the market: festive jewelry that retains the cherished craftsmanship of traditional designs yet feels current and effortless. She said the collaboration with Shanaya was “inevitable,” as Shanaya intuitively understands her generation’s aesthetic, making the launch of Indinoor an exciting and natural evolution.
