Texas A&M University researchers found that when cells age, their internal power plants (mitochondria) also plummet. The preclinical research, published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, shows how the nanoflowers work - triggering the production of mitochondria, which is the restoration of tissue function in laboratory models.
