Omani Doc 'Al Zij' Wins Three Awards at an Indian Film Festival

The Omani documentary film 'Al Zij' won three awards at the Diamond Cut Festival in India. 

The awards are for Best Cinematography, Best Actor, and Best Show. 

'Al Zij' was produced by the Oman Film Society and highlights how an Omani works in the profession of cultivating and manufacturing Omani red sugar. 

The documentary sheds light on the emotional, social, and economic elements involved in this profession.

'Al Zij' was shot in Nizwa, Bahla, Al Hamra, and Manah. 

The documentary also featured in the twelfth edition of the Arab Film Festival in South Korea. 

'Al Zij' is set to feature at other international festivals and events.
