The Indian Community Festival Returns to Oman in May

The 10th edition of the festival will feature both Indian and Omani cultural traditions.

The 10th edition of the Indian Community Festival will return to Oman on May 5th and 6th at Amerat Park, which will feature a fusion of both Omani and Indian cultures and traditions. 

The festival will feature folk songs, dances, and traditional tribal dances with 20 professional artists from India performing at the event. 

The festival will also focalize local Omani art forms as the festival will present an amalgamation of both cultures. 

The Indian Community Festival will also host Food Fest stalls featuring Indian delicacies, which will give visitors an opportunity to snack on various sweet and savoury treats. 

Other than these cultural segments, the festival will also host the Muscat Science Festival, which hopes to nurture scientific aptitude among Oman students as well as expat students. 

The organizers of the event shared that entry to the festival venue will be free and they expect 50,000 to 60,000 visitors to the 2023 edition of the festival.
