Firefighting teams from the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) in the Muscat Governorate have successfully brought a blaze at a warehouse in the Seeb wilayat under control, officials confirmed on Tuesday.
According to a Times of Oman report, the CDAA responded swiftly after receiving a report of the fire in one of the area’s warehouses early on January 13, 2026. Upon arrival at the scene, crews launched a coordinated operation to tackle the flames and prevent the fire from spreading to adjacent structures.
Through sustained efforts and professional emergency response work, firefighters were able to contain the blaze and extinguish it effectively, ensuring the safety of neighbouring facilities.
No injuries have been reported in connection with the incident, and authorities are continuing to assess the site. The CDAA reiterated the importance of fire safety measures for businesses and storage facilities to prevent similar occurrences in future.
This latest response follows previous episodes where CDAA teams have intervened in fire incidents in the Seeb area, underscoring the ongoing importance of readiness and rapid action by Oman’s emergency services.
