First Look from H.H. Sayyid Theyazin's Wedding

The wedding of Oman's Crown Prince, His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, took place on Thursday, April 24, at Maraya Hall in Al Aalam Palace, Muscat.

A photo of the royal groom went viral on social media, featuring the Crown Prince in traditional Omani attire.

The news of the Crown Prince's engagement was first shared by his aunt, Sayyida Maani bint Abdullah Al-Busaidi, on Instagram in December 2024, but she did not reveal the identity of the bride. 

The royal bride's photos have not been revealed, but her name Sayyida Alia bint Mohammed bin Hilal bin Hamad Al Busaidi. Her uncle, Sayyid Saud Al Busaidi, is the Governor of Muscat, and her other uncle, Sayyid Ahmed Al Busaidi, is Oman’s Ambassador to the UAE.

Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said

His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said is the first Crown Prince in the history of Oman. He was born on August 21, 1990 in Muscat and he is the eldest son of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq and Sayyida Ahad bint Abdullah.

He graduated from the University of Oxford and later received his Master's degree in history from Oxford Brookes. 

The Crown Prince also trained at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.

He started his career in diplomacy by serving at the Omani Embassy in London. In August 2020, he was appointed as the Minister of Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth.
