Iran Red Crescent Confirms 555 Deaths Since the Start of the War

The Iranian Red Crescent Society confirmed that 555 people have been killed across the country since the beginning of the ongoing conflict, which authorities attribute to strikes by US and Israeli forces over the past two days.

In a statement shared via Telegram, the humanitarian organization described the attacks as “Zionist-American terrorist operations” carried out in multiple regions. Officials said that 131 cities across Iran have been affected by the strikes to date.

The Red Crescent emphasized that relief and rescue operations are continuing without interruption, with humanitarian teams deployed in affected areas. More than 100,000 responders have been placed on nationwide alert to assist emergency missions.

Authorities also stated that a volunteer network of approximately four million people remains on standby to provide humanitarian aid, psychosocial support, and other emergency services if required.

The organization said its priority is to deliver medical, rescue, and relief assistance to civilians impacted by the ongoing attacks while coordinating with local authorities and emergency teams.

The conflict escalation has raised international concern, with humanitarian groups calling for protection of civilians and critical infrastructure. Further updates are expected as rescue operations continue.
