Bahrain Has Just Approved The Use Of Covid-19 Anti Viral Drug

Bahrain has just approved the use of the antiviral covid-19 drug Paxlovid for people above the age of 12 and who have got mild to moderate symptoms only in emergency cases, ones that have a high risk of death due to covid-19 symptoms, During the end of December the FDA has approved the usage of this drug in emergency cases for all people above 12 and who weigh more than 40 Kgs.
This new medication consists of 2 co-packaged antiviral medicines, which are:
- PF-07321332
- Ritonavir
Both were designed to stop the virus behind Covid-19 from multiplying in the body to heal from that infection.
So far, Bahrain has approved the usage of 6 different types of covid-19 vaccines.
