Lebanese couturier Elie Saab has unveiled his AED 2.2 billion luxury property development in the Maldives. 

The couturier is developing the resort in partnership with Dubai's Samana Developers, which is the fashion house's first branded real estate island resort. 

Samana Ocean Views will feature 190 keys including overwater villas and pool apartments, slated to open in 2029.

The interiors have been designed by the Elie Saab brand, featuring soft neutral tones and luxury fabrics.

The development will also have a luxury spa, a wellness center, multiple swimming pools, a dive center, and upscale restaurants including speciality Arabic and Japanese eateries.
