A dinner banquet, an all-male event, was hosted by King Abdullah II on Wednesday, May 31st to celebrate Crown Prince Hussein's upcoming wedding. 

The event was hosted at the Raghadan Palace, the oldest palace in Jordan built by the Hashemites. 

The event was attended by men from different tribes that are a significant part of Jordan's political system. The attendees were more than 4,000 in number.

The event featured various cultural music and dance performances including dabka. 

The dinner featured a traditional Jordanian menu including Jordan's popular dish mansaf, which comprises a type of dry cheese called jameed that is liquefied and poured over a bed of rice and lamb on the bone. Dessert included kunafa, which is also a popular sweet dish in Arab culture.
