Chairman Emeritus of Tata Sons, Rata Tata, is hospitalized at the Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai, India and in critical condition, according to recent reports.
Tata was hospitalized on Monday, Oct. 7 because of issues related to blood pressure, but reports reveal that his condition has worsened since then.
On Monday, Tata issued a statement, dispelling rumors about his health, explaining that he was at the hospital for routine medical checkups.

However, reports on Tuesday reveal that Tata's condition has deteriorated since yesterday.
An official statement about Tata's health will be issued on Friday, Oct. 11, according to reports.
