Two people were seriously injured following a gas cylinder explosion at a restaurant in the Wilayat of Al Amerat, Muscat Governorate, according to an official report released by the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA).
Firefighting teams responded rapidly to the scene after reports of a fire broke out at the establishment. The blaze quickly escalated into an explosion involving a gas cylinder. CDAA officials confirmed that their crews swiftly intervened to contain the fire and manage the hazardous situation.
Ambulance teams provided immediate emergency medical assistance to the victims at the location before transporting them to a nearby medical facility for further treatment. While the CDAA reported that both individuals sustained serious injuries, no additional details regarding their current condition or the specific cause of the initial fire were immediately available.
