A devastating multi-car crash hit Sultan Said bin Taimur Road in Dhofar early Friday morning, July 11, leaving five people dead and 11 injured. The accident happened around 7 AM, according to Oman Police.

Who Were the Victims?

Sadly, the crash took the lives of two Omanis and three Emirati citizens. Among the injured are two Omanis and nine Emiratis—five of whom are children. Authorities are still investigating what led to the collision involving three vehicles.

This Comes Just a Week After a Fatal Bus Crash

This isn’t the first heartbreaking road incident lately. Just last week, a bus carrying children overturned in Al-Rusaiss, Izki Governorate. That crash killed the bus driver and three kids, leaving 12 other children injured.
