A mural of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has been unveiled in Dubai portraying the emirate's Crown Prince.

As part of the 8th edition of Dubai Street Museum, local and international artists jointly created the artwork.

Dubai Street Museum is led by Brand Dubai, the creative arm of the Government of Dubai Media Office (GDMO), and the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA).

The mural is 18 metres in height and 32 metres in width, adorns the wall of a DEWA sub-station on Al Wasl Road.

It depicts an image of Sheikh Hamdan overlooking the city’s iconic landmarks from the window of an airplane.

The artwork is accompanied by a calligraphic rendition of a verse penned by Sheikh Hamdan about Dubai’s impressive achievements.

The Dubai Street Museum was launched in 2016 by Sheikh Mohammed, aiming to highlight Dubai’s unique identity, values and aspirations by creating distinctive public artworks across the emirate.
