To prioritize employment for Omani citizens, the Ministry has expanded the list of occupations restricted to non-Omanis by adding over 30 new professions.
The Ministry of Labour (MoL) in Oman has unveiled a comprehensive array of new measures designed to regulate the labour market and boost job opportunities for Omani nationals. These measures will be implemented starting in September.
As part of the new directive, all state administrative units and government-owned companies are required to avoid engaging with private sector entities that do not meet the government's Omanisation targets.
