Los Angeles did not just host a World Cup match. It also became a big celebrity moment, with the sidelines drawing almost as much attention as the stadium. The opening U.S. game at SoFi Stadium brought together Hollywood stars, influencers, and global entertainment names, turning the event into a major pop culture scene.

The star power was easy to see. Tom Cruise, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Owen Wilson were among the names linked to the VIP crowd, adding strong Hollywood appeal that only Los Angeles can deliver.
