Renowned Bollywood couple, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, emerged as the top winners at the 69th edition of the Filmfare Awards, held in Gujarat, India. The prestigious ceremony celebrated their outstanding performances in the films released last year.

Best Actor and Actress Awards

Best Film and Director

"12th Fail," a biographical drama directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, was crowned as the Best Film, triumphing over other notable contenders. Vidhu Vinod Chopra also received recognition as the Best Director.

Critics’ Choice Awards

Devashish Makhija’s thriller "Joram" won the Filmfare award for Best Film (Critics’). The Critics’ Choice awards for Best Actor went to Vikrant Massey ("12th Fail"), Best Actress to Rani Mukerji ("Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway"), and Shefali Shah ("Three of Us").
