Effect of Air Depression Remains in Oman

The effect of air depression remains in Oman as weather conditions are anticipated to spread to other governorates in the Sultanate.

The heavy rainfall is continuing in the regions of Musandam, Dhofar and Al Wusta, and sporadic rain covering the states of Madha and Dibba as well as the west side of the governorates.

Based on the Directorate General of Meteorology the satellite images display clouds becoming more intense over most of the regions with chances of sporadic rain in the coastal areas of the Governorate of Dhofar.

The influence is anticipated to extend its reach to the governorates of North Al Sharqiyah, South Al Sharqiyah Al Wasta and Dhofar, and the highest amount of rainfall is expected over the northern governorates.
