Emergency services scrambled to the scene of a serious traffic accident on Wednesday after a bus rolled over in the Falaj Al Qabail area of Sohar, leaving 18 people injured.
Rescue and ambulance teams from the Civil Defence and Ambulance Department in North Al Batinah Governorate were immediately dispatched to manage the aftermath of the incident. Upon arrival, first responders assessed the situation and began extricating passengers from the overturned vehicle.
Medical officials reported that the 18 individuals taken into care sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate. Prompt emergency medical attention was administered at the site to stabilize the victims before they were transported to nearby healthcare facilities for further treatment and observation.
Authorities have not yet released details regarding the cause of the rollover or the identity of those involved. Traffic police are expected to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash while normalizing road conditions in the affected area.
