HM Sultan Haitham Pardons 198 Prisoners Ahead of Eid Al Fitr

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has ordered the release of 198 prisoners ahead of the occasion of Eid Al Fitr 1444 AH.
The inmates, including 89 expatriates, were convicted in various cases, an official source in the Royal Oman Police (ROP) said.
The pardon comes from His Majesty, the Supreme Commander, taking into account the families of these prisoners.
