In a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry on Saturday, Oman expressed "deep concern" over the bombing campaign, warning that it could widen the scope of conflict in the Middle East. The ministry stressed that the airstrikes violated international law and the UN Charter, both of which prohibit the use of force and uphold the principle of respecting national sovereignty.
Oman, known for its neutral and peace-focused diplomacy, urged all parties involved to step back from the brink and engage in meaningful dialogue. The country reaffirmed its firm stance on resolving disputes through peaceful means, not military action.

The statement also addressed Iran’s nuclear programme, which Oman said must be allowed to continue for peaceful purposes under the strict oversight of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), in line with global agreements and protocols.
Oman further reminded the international community that targeting nuclear facilities goes against the Geneva Conventions and international treaties due to the serious risks of radiation and contamination.
Calling on global powers to prioritise diplomacy, Oman encouraged the international community to uphold legal frameworks, de-escalate tensions, and work collectively to maintain peace and security across the region.
