1. Muscat Nights

Immerse into Oman's culture this year with the Muscat Nights. Muscat Festival has changed its name to Muscat Nights, which will take place at Qurum Natural Park and Al Naseem Public Park from January 19 to February 4, 2023.

2. Oman Desert Marathon

The Sultanate of Oman has confirmed January 21–24, 2023, as the dates for the eighth edition of the 165 km, four-stage Oman Desert Marathon.
One of the most magnificent deserts in the world is seen from four different angles across four stages of 47 km, 55 km, 42 km, and 21 km. An extraordinary trip to the highest dunes and farthest-reaching sand dunes in the Omani Desert.

3. Muscat International Book Fair

The 27th Muscat International Book Fair, which will take place from February 22 through March 4, 2023, has advanced quickly from its beginning stages to the present, sparking the cultural movement in the Sultanate to be held at Oman International Exhibition Centre, Oman. This year, 715 publishing firms—including 33 publishing houses with a focus on international books—are taking part in the show. There are 361,000 titles in the show, and 27 countries are participating.

4. ISMO stand-up comedy

The ultimate observer, comedian, ISMO, will be in Oman on January 20 from 19:30 to 22:30 at the Hormuz Grand Muscat Radisson. Book your tickets here.

5. Lost River

From February 2 to February 4, embark on an incredible three-day adventure that will take you deep into the Eastern Hajar Mountains while you challenge your limits and engage in a range of activities like hiking, rafting, and canyoning.
