Muscat Municipality Launches 'Whatsapp with Mu'een'

Muscat Municipality launched the trial version of 'Whatsapp with Mu'een' at Comex 2023, which will improve communication between the municipality and beneficiaries. 

This platform has an automatic response feature and provides five services including the renewal of building permits, company registration, request to cancel parking violations, report for electronic services, and pest control reports. 

The municipality launched the platform to improve the efficiency of procedures of the no-objection certificate, which is a certification that allows excavations and supply of water and electricity lines and telecommunication services. 

Requests will be approved through one platform only and the transaction to obtain the NOC can be conducted within three to eight days. 

Muscat Municipality also presented the updated services in the new version of the Baladiyet smartphone app at Comex 2023.
