US Says Iranian Missile Launches Drop by 86% Since Start of Conflict

There’s been a sharp slowdown in missile activity.

A senior US official said the number of ballistic missiles fired by Iran has dropped significantly since the first day of fighting.

86% Drop in Ballistic Missiles

According to General Dan Caine, the top US military officer, Iranian theater ballistic missile launches are down 86 per cent compared to the opening day of the conflict.

Speaking at a briefing at the Pentagon, Caine also noted that launches decreased by another 23 per cent in just the last 24 hours.

Drone Launches Also Down

It’s not just missiles.

Iran’s one-way attack drone launches have also fallen, down 73 per cent from the early days of the conflict.

The figures were reported by Agence France-Presse, citing Caine’s remarks.

While tensions remain high, the latest data points to a noticeable decline in Iran’s recent missile and drone activity.
