Over 300 Prisoners Released for 'Fak Kurbah' Initiative in Oman

More than 300 insolvent prisoners were released as part of the 'Fak Kurbah' initiative in Oman during the first week of Ramadan. 

Fak Kurbah is a humanitarian initiative and in its 10th edition, they successfully released 319 prisoners in many governates of Oman. 

Across ten governates, the following number of prisoners were released: 98 prisoners from North Al Batinah, 54 from Al Dhahirah, 42 from Al Buraimi, 32 from South Al Sharqiyah, 29 from Muscat, and 20 from Al Dakhiliyah.

The South Al Batinah Governorate released 26 prisoners, North Al Sharqiyah released 13 prisoners, Dhofar released 4 prisoners, and Musandam release one prisoner. 

The Fak Kurbah initiative plans to release 1,300 prisoners in its 10th edition.
