Kuwaiti Dinar Tops the Forbes Most Powerful Currencies in the World

According to Forbes magazine, the Kuwaiti Dinar is the world's most powerful currency as of 2023.

The US dollar is ranked as the tenth-strongest currency in the world and is used as the standard against which other currencies are measured. It might be claimed that the US dollar is worth more than all other worldwide currencies in circulation today.

“We have analyzed the most powerful currencies based on the number of foreign currency units that must be paid in exchange for one US dollar,” said Forbes Magazine.

Exchange rates were taken from our section on currency conversion based on information provided by Open Exchange. The list of the world's powerful currencies according to "Forbes" for 2023 is shown below.

The Kuwaiti dinar is the strongest currency in the world, buying 3.26 US dollars per unit (or, to put it another way, one US dollar is equal to 0.31 Kuwaiti dinars). Kuwait gets a large portion of its wealth from being a leading oil exporter on a worldwide scale.

The Bahraini dinar is the second-strongest currency in the world, buying 2.65 US dollars for each Bahraini dinar (a dollar costs 0.38 Bahraini dinars) followed by the riyal of Oman is the third-strongest currency in the world, buying 2.60 US dollars (a dollar is equivalent to 0.38 riyals).
