 Shopping centers in Salalah witness an active commercial activity during this season, with tourists and visitors flocking to traditional products and industries, especially shops selling frankincense, incense, silver and pottery, Omani Halwa, and restaurants serving traditional Omani food.

Oman's Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth announced that it will hold more than 65 activities in Khareef Season 2023.

The activities include: workshops on travel literature and cultural management, a cultural economy symposium, a number of cultural lectures and poetry evenings.

This is in addition to youth programs that include workshops in information technology, montage, directing, marketing, and the Toastmaster competition, which is a competition in communication skill, public speaking art, and public speaking.

The season will also see to courses in the field of fashion design, dialogue sessions, and a youth exhibition for creativity and innovation.

All this besides, swimming, bowling, snooker, billiards and tennis tournament will be organised, and a football tournament that includes a number of competitions, namely: buds, wilayats, government and the private sector institutions.

Several women's activities in bowling, chess, electronic sports, an open sports day, the team and individual games tournament for clubs, and the celebration of Omani Women's Day will be organised.
