Bloom Hawana Salalah Festival to Launch in Dhofar in July

The first edition of the “Bloom Hawana Salalah” festival will kick off during Khareef Season 2023, on Thursday, July 27th, at Hawana Salalah, Dhofar Governorate.

The festival is anticipated to draw about 10,000 guests each day.

It will last until August 11^th.

The festival strives to create a family-friendly event that emphasizes the value of protecting and nurturing the environment.

The festival will incorporate entertainment activities split into a variety of categories, including a garden of rare plants, birds, and animals, the food area, the artistic and talent shows area, and many others.

"The festival is in harmony with the direction of concerned authorities in promoting tourism at various destinations and sites in the Dhofar Governorate during the Khareef season, in line with the efforts made in the entertainment industry and the implementation of specialised programmes, by creating innovative activities with a sustainable positive impact that contribute creating new tourism patterns, " Director of Promotion at the Directorate General of Heritage and Tourism in Dhofar Governorate Marwan bin Abdul Hakim Al Ghassani said.
