Khareef Dhofar Expected to Attract Over 1 Million Visitors This Year

More than a million people are anticipated to visit Khareef Dhofar this year, according to the Chairman of Dhofar Municipality.

Activities for Khareef will be hosted at a number of new and current places throughout Dhofar, giving locals, residents, and visitors opportunities for a variety of exciting experiences.

Chairman of Dhofar Municipality and Chairman of the Main Committee for Khareef Dhofar Activities Ahmed Mohsen Al-Ghassani said that the most prominent events of this year's Khareef are:

- Ittin Square in Ittin Plain,

- Return to the Past in Al Haffa,

- Kiddy Time in Awqad Park,

- Lights Park in Salalah Park,

- Salalah Eat - People's Kitchen - in the Garden of Al Sa’adah.

“Each site has various activities, programmes and shows for the public,” he added.

He also affirmed that the Dhofar Governorate has established a number of tourism attractions this year, including the view of the Darbat Falls, Wadi Darbat, and the Al-Mughsayl region. In addition, the areas of Ain Jerziz and Hamreer View have been improved.
