His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik patronized the opening ceremony of Sultan Haitham City at Bait al Baraka Palace. During the event, His Majesty was informed about the specifics of this future Smart City, envisioned as a sustainable urban development that meets the aspirations of the youth in the Sultanate.

His Majesty the Sultan familiarized himself with the features of Sultan Haitham City through digital displays highlighting the city's diverse and multi-use housing options. These options are set within a modern setting that simulates cultural heritage, promotes sustainable lifestyles, and showcases an impressive architectural vision that fits all categories of society.

During the visit, his Majesty also gained an understanding of the city's identity and its mission to establish a remarkable and exceptional urban center in the Sultanate of Oman.

Sultan Haitham City, unveiled during a ceremony attended by His Majesty the Sultan, showcases a visual presentation of its master plan model. The city will offer a wide range of facilities, including schools, hospitals, and mosques, and it is a product of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning's commitment to sustainable urban development, aligned with Oman Vision 2040.
