Jabal Akhdar Festival Concludes With More Than 60,000 Visitors

The second edition of Al Jabal Al Akhdar Festival has attracted over 60,000 visitors from inside and outside Oman.

The festival was held in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate from Thursday, August 3rd to Saturday, August 19th.

The event offered attendees a refreshing experience amidst scenic hills and pleasant summer weather. It highlighted the natural beauty and cultural heritage of Al Jabal Al Akhdar and Oman as a whole.

The festival calendar included a multitude of activities, events, and programmes suitable for the entire family and all age groups. There were sections dedicated to Omani cuisine where children immersed in the culinary world with Omani chefs.

Adventure sport enthusiasts could also enjoy a range of competitions and events, including the Himam Taster Run race, the Omani Cycling Association's Jabal Akhdar Mountain Bike Race, and walking tours.
