Everything to Know About the 2025 Tour of Oman

Get ready for the most exciting event of the year! The 14th edition of the International Tour of Oman 2025 will begin on Friday, Feb. 7.

The Tour of Oman is a prestigious annual road cycling race held in Oman, attracting top international teams and riders.

The multi-stage race showcases the country's stunning landscapes, from coastal roads to challenging mountain climbs like the iconic Green Mountain (Jebel Akhdar). Part of the UCI Asia Tour, the event tests cyclists’ endurance and strategy.

The tour will include five stages across Oman's terrain and natural landscapes. The tour will conclude on Wednesday, Feb. 12 with international teams from Europe, Asia, America and Australia participating in the event. 

The event will kick off with the 'Muscat Classic', which will begin at the Wave Muscat and pass through various landmarks including Sea Road in the Wilayat of A’Seeb, Darsait, Al Wadi Al Kabir, Yiti, Qantab, Sidab.

The 171km race will end at the State Council and the winner will earn 125 points in the world ranking. 

The tour will include the following five stages:

  • Feb. 8: the first stage will begin at Muscat College in the Wilayat of Bousher and end at Bimmah Sinkhole in the Wilayat of Qurayat.
  • Feb. 9: the second stage will begin at ’Rustaq Fort in the South Al Batinah Governorate and end at Yiti Heights in Muscat Governorate.
  • Feb. 10: the third stage will begin at the Wilayat of Bidbid in A’Dakhiliyah Governorate and end at Al Jabal A’Sharqi Mountain in the Wilayat of Al Hamra.
  • Feb. 11: the fourth stage will begin at the Oman Across Ages Museum in the Wilayat of Manah in A’Dakhiliyah Governorate and end at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre in Muscat Governorate.
  • Feb. 12: the fifth stage will begin Imtti area in the Wilayat of Izki in A’Dakhiliyah Governorate and will end at Al Jabal Al Akhdar Road in A’Dakhiliyah Governorate.
